The first ever Scout game app is now live on the App Store and as an Android app on Google Play. The all action game showcases the best of Scouting skills and activities and includes three arcade style mini-games: hang-gliding, mountain boarding and kayaking. Players create their own character, boy or girl, customising neckerchief, uniform, hair and skin colour and then enter a virtual world. They then engage in a series of challenges in order to find the Chief Scout's secret knowledge. Click here for more information.
During February 2012 the Beavers had great fun creating self-portraits, and these have been loaded onto the Face Britain Gallery. Montages of all the portraits in the Gallery will be used throughout Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, as well as during the Olympics. So if you spot a portrait of a child wearing a turquoise sweatshirt, it maybe a 1st Braughing Beaver! Every child's self portrait will be used in a very special montage portrait of HM The Queen to be projected onto Buckingham Palace between 8.30pm - 11.15pm from 19th – 21st April.
