Make Everyday an Adventure
Scouting offers challenge and adventure to 400,000 young people and 100,000 adults across the UK. We do some pretty amazing things in Scouting, but for us, adventure is a way of life and not just an activity or expedition. Our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts grow in confidence by trying out new skills and stretching themselves. Whether it’s a Scout leading his/her Patrol for the first time or a cub learning to pitch a tent, each time we challenge ourselves, it’s a step forward. When a Scout stands up to a bully, or sticks up for what they believe in; that’s an adventure.
1st Braughing Scout Group

We are an active group of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts who meet in Puckeridge, Standon and Braughing (Ware and District, Hertfordshire). We have one Beaver colony and one Cub pack that meet in Puckeridge at the Community Centre on a Tuesday evening and another Cub pack that meets in Braughing on a Wednesday evening.
We have two Scout troops that meet on a Friday night, one at Puckeridge Community Centre and one at Standon Village Hall. We are a co-ed group (ie boys and girls!) and open to young people from every faith and background.
We also have a Scout and Guide band.
1st Braughing Scout Group is a Registered Charity (No. 306101).
