Cub Tug-of-War & Sports Day July 2010

Here are some photos from the Cub Tug-of-War & Sports Day July 2010.
A Burns supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns, author of many Scots poems. The suppers are normally held on or near the poet's birthday, 25 January, sometimes also known asRobert Burns Day or Burns Night (Burns Nicht), although they may in principle be held at any time of the year.
Jaguar scouts made a track with foam to make a marble run as far as possible with stunts along the way.

On 4th November 2011, 13 scouts travelled by minibus to GlaxoSmithKline’s sports hall in Ware to climb the 25m climbing wall. Everyone had a turn at climbing and belaying from the newest scouts to the old timers (no not Jackie!).
As part of our Creative challenge this term, we spent an evening learning some Street Dance. Ruth and her helpers came along and taught the Cubs 3 dances. The pictures / video tell all, ...the Cubs had a great time! Thanks Ruth.
